BTSA Range Regulations & Etiquette


· All persons entering the range must be wearing ear and eye protection.

· Members and guests must sign in. Members visibly wear membership cards

· RSO signs back of new member cards. Can record any concerns as well.

· Members must record both their APRA# and their BTSA# in log book.

· A shooter may be requested by the RSO to demonstrate firearm proficiency. (RSO can ask shooter to stop shooting, if not proficient with firearm.)

· When one or more people are shooting, the RSO must refrain from shooting.

· Avoid distracting others while they are shooting.

· Smoking permitted outside the gates, in the parking lot only.

· Ask owner’s permission before handling shooting equipment.

· Space and orient shooters on firing line to minimize affects of flying brass, etc.

· No black powder on firing line. Cap black powder firearm only on firing line.

· Consider rapid fire disturbs other shooters and shots may not safely hit berm.

· RSO shall put away target frames, clean up brass and debris and empty garbage cans when shooting is finished.
